Personalize Websites with Reedge

April 22nd, 2011

Today we have a new feature that will help website to create a personalized website without any back-end changes. The Visual Selector Reedge developed for A/B and Multivariate Testing is now available for personalization features as well.

The feature allows users to change specific page layouts or add javascripts to pages based on a specific user profile or behavior. The feature can be found in Segments / Personalization in every beta account of Reedge.

Reedge allows users to give a personal touch to their site based on a profile mix of the 32 entities: External Link Clicked, Landing Page path, Page path, Page Url, Query string, Site Domain, Transfer protocol, Browser, Browser Version, Flash Support, Java Support, Operating System, Screen Colors, Screen Resolution, Traffic Sources, Keyword, Referral path, Referral type, Source name, Average time on page, City, Country, Days since last visit, Hour of day, Language, Pages visited, Region, Time on page, Visit duration, Visitor Type, Visitor’s Segment and Visits count.

We expect that our clients will be using it for geotargeting there website. Showing a link to a list of restaurants in the state the visitor is currently in is of course the most understandable example for personalization. We will be making this feature more advanced based on the feedback we get from users.
