Improvements in response times and JavaScript distribution
On February 19 we experienced problem in our database systems and this caused client websites to slow down for some time. We are sorry for the delay and worked had the last couple of days to make sure that you will not experience any more delays, even if one of our servers fails.
The good thing is you do not have to change any of you JavaScript codes or anything in your profile on our site. Let us explain what we did to prevent any delays on your websites.
We upgraded our servers to handle the steady growth of users we are experiencing since our Beta launch. We added content delivery network (CDN) network for tracking and tracing, so it will get the script from the nearest location in your website visitors’ region. On top of that we added a system that checks the status of all our systems from two different locations every minute. If these systems notice any delay in our systems they serve your site an alternative tracking and trace code that does not delay your website.
Thank you for the reports on this issue and the suggestions we got to improve the infrastructure of our network. We appreciate all the help in making our product the best targeting and testing tool for everyone.
